The 2020 Annual Meeting and Academic Seminar of Anhui Weighing Instrument Metrology Technical Committee was held in Lu 'an. Anhui Yongcheng Electronic Machinery Technology Co., Ltd., as the affiliated unit of the Committee's secretariat, undertook the relevant contact and service guarantee work of the meeting.

From December 24 to 25, Hefei organized the 2020 Annual Meeting and Academic Seminar of Anhui Weighing Instrument Metrology Technical Committee. The meeting was hosted by the Municipal Institute of Metrology and Testing, and representatives from various prefectures and cities in the province and related production enterprises attended the meeting. Ma Xiankai, deputy director of the Metrology Department of the Provincial Market Supervision Bureau, the responsible persons in charge of the Hefei Market Supervision Bureau, Wuhu Market Supervision Bureau, and Lu'an Market Supervision Bureau, and the heads of the Metrology Section of some prefectural and municipal market supervision bureaus attended the meeting.

The meeting reviewed the achievements made by the Committee in 2020, and planned the work in 2021 from four aspects: providing technical specification support for the newly issued compulsory management catalogue and relevant measurement regulations, doing a good job in the application of the revision plan of technical specifications, organizing the experts of the committee to contribute to the professional journals of legal measurement organization, and doing a good job in the technical reserve of self-declaration of measurement assurance capability (C mark), with emphasis on the newly revised catalogue of compulsory inspection instruments, efforts will be made to promote the improvement of the service level of the province's weighing instrument inspection work, and to improve the influence of our province's weighing instrument measurement technology in the country through the establishment of rules and regulations.

Ma Xiankai affirmed the convening of the meeting with "early planning, practical content and good representation. Ma Xiankai said that Anhui Metrology Technology Committee, as the only professional committee set up at the municipal level in the province, has made obvious achievements in 2020 and put forward four suggestions for the next step: first, closely follow the theme of promoting high-quality development and promoting new development pattern, and provide high-precision and high-quality weighing products; second, do a good job in technical benchmarking at the provincial and national levels; third, do a good job in three services, serve the work of municipal bureaus and municipal technical offices, serve the high-quality development of weighing instrument manufacturers, and serve all members of the technical committee; the fourth is to further explore and innovate in informatization, standardization, normalization and measurement culture construction, and achieve new and greater achievements in 2021.

Delegates also discussed and analyzed the problems encountered in the current field of weighing instruments in the province and how to strengthen the supervision of electronic scales. They also exchanged views on the implementation plan of electronic scale measurement comparison in 2021 and put forward suggestions for revision.
